Part 2 of our DIY basement bar nook! I truly love how the space turned out and it was a great way to utilize unused space under the space while not giving up a ton of floor space in the basement. Aaron built the cabinet base and once that was installed we added a beverage fridge and countertop.
We partnered with U-Line on the beverage fridge and I love how much it holds. It has space for wine bottles with two racks that pull out and adjustable shelves that hold cans and bottles. I use the bottom shelf for juice boxes or water bottles for the kids.
We did choose a beverage center with a lock, just in case…
For the countertops, I chose a white quartz in Calcutta Gold. It was a scrap piece and ended up being very affordable. Aaron was even able to install it himself to save even more more. I love the piece we picked out.
Here is another view of the nook in our space. It is nicely tucked away, again without sacrificing a ton of space in the basement. If you can utilize a space under the stairs, I highly recommend it!
