It’s blueberry season! This classic cobbler is so easy to whip up for dessert and oh so delish! Perfect for any backyard BBQ and for the 4th of July holiday! Enjoy!
Preheat oven to 350. Melt a few tablespoons of butter in a small saucpan or in the micorwave. In a small bowl, add 4 cups fresh {or frozen} blueberries, 1/2 cup white sugar and the zest of one lemon. Stir to combine. In a large bowl, combine 1 cup white flour, 1 cup white sugar, 2 teaspoons of baking powder and a pinch of salt. Add 3/4 cup of milk and stir. Pour the blueberries over the melted butter in baking dish and then drizzle the batter over the top. Bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm alone or with ice cream. YUM!!!
