One of my favorite things about the holiday season is the all the pretty little packages I get to gift! I love embellishing my holiday packages with a little something extra that makes it hard to open because it’s so pretty! Today, I am sharing 4 simple ways to embellish your gifts this holiday season!
#1 TWINE WITH GREENERY / I quickly fell in love with the simplicity of this paper. I love the black and white and the cursive “FALALA” is so fun! This first package is simply wrapped with a piece of natural twine and then topped with a sprig of faux greenery. You can cerainly use a sprig of fresh greenery as well {it honestly depends on how quickly you will be gifting that package}. Another option is to add a pick of red or white berries. I truly love the simplicity of this pretty package.
#2 CANDY CANE & ORNAMENT / If you want to dres up your package a bit, I love the look of black velvet ribbon. I simply tied it across the package and then placed a candy cane in the center. The red and white stripe is a nice pop on this package. I topped it off with a handmade ornament I made at a recent AR Workshop but any ornament will do. I love adding ornaments to packages as they can add them right to their tree. It’s like a little sweet extra gift!
#3 FAUX MINI WREATH / I love the coordinating black and white mini polka dotted paper. If you are gifting a few gifts, they look so pretty together. To this package, I wrapped a faux mini wreath with black and white striped ribbon to the package. It’s simple but oh so pretty!
#4 RIBBON AND ORNAMENT / Lastly, like I mentioned before I love adding ornaments to packages. I also made this one at a recent AR Workshop and was running out of ribbon. I made a bow using some smaller pieces and attached it to the top of the package. I then topped it off with the ornament. This is a little trick when you are either in a time crunch or running low on supplies and it looks just as pretty. No one will ever know.
