The holiday season is here and it’s time to deck the halls! As always, I love keeping things simply when it comes to decorating!
This year, the kiddos gave me full reign on our main tree and I kept it neutral with wood tones, wood beaded garland and white ornaments. *Don’t worry! They decorated their own tree in the basement!
I changed things up on our mantle this year and truly love the way it all turned out! Christmas greens, small pops of gold, neutral ceramic trees and I finally bought new stockings for the kids! They look beautiful hung on our mantle!
I added a fresh wreath from Trader Joe’s to the center of the basket. It smells amazing and really centers the whole mantle. The garland is last year from the Target Studio McGee line. I love how it drapes across our mantle! It features different types of faux greenery with small sprigs of blue toned berries.
I replaced our gray, wood candlesticks with this beautiful pair from Target. They are a gold/brass and almost look vintage. The set comes with 3 but I only used the two largest ones. I added white tapered candles and placed them on one side of the mantle.
On the other side of the mantle, I placed a pair of white ceramic trees, also from the Target! They are simple, neutral and I loved the texture on them. They are available in 3 different sizes, I have the large and medium. Under those are our beautiful new stockings. Another Target find! They are a stitched velvet and I ordered wood stocking tags from Etsy for the kids with their names on them!
Lastly, I picked up this faux potted tree. It comes in 3 sizes, this is the largest, and it really balances out the whole mantle space with our Christmas tree. I love the neutral toned pot it comes in and you can certainly place it in a larger pot or basket to complement your space. You could even add lights!
This is the main living space in our home and where we spend most of our time! I love the simplicty of it all! ‘Tis the season and happy decorating!
