Fall is officially in the air! The temps have certainly cooled down and it’s sweater weather up on the East Coast! I am so excited to finally share my fall home tour! This year I kept things pretty sweet and simple and added subtle touches of fall here and there. By doing this I can keep things up through the season and into Thanksgiving, which we are excited to be hosting this year!
Let’s start at our entrance! I love the neutral toned heirloom pumpkins and picked up a few at our local Trader Joe’s. And I just love the simplicity of white mums which I placed in my well loved olive buckets. The key to picking out mums and getting them to last is choosing ones where the buds are tightly closed. This will ensure a long season of enjoyment. Once they bloom, you can get about 6 more weeks out of them.
Here is a picture of my mums in fuller bloom! These are called “Bridal White” and I absolutely love them with the heirloom pumpkins.
I only really decorated two rooms in our house, the family room and breakfast nook. And again, all with subtle touches of fall. In our family room, I kept things simple on our mantle with Target Dollar Spot finds! The gray and white pumpkins are ceramic and the stems are painted gold. Again, I love the simplicity of them and they are just perfect for the fall season.
I also snagged this sweet little pillow in the Target Dollar Spot as well! I love the tassels on it and the appliqué stitched detail. Again, its neutral and goes well with the other decor in this space.
In our breakfast room, I simply placed eucalyptus leaves and white baby boo pumpkins from Trader Joe’s in the wooden dough bowl I use as a centerpiece. Again, neutral and simple for the season ahead.
That is it for my fall home tour this year! I am all about simplicity this year and loved adding the subtle touches of fall to our home!
Happy fall, y’all!
